I’m Marc — the grower, collector, and caretaker behind Urban Jungle Sydney, a boutique tropical plant business nestled in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

My journey into the world of tropical plants began long before this business was born. My mother was a true plant person, with an incredible instinct for bringing life and warmth into our home, and my grandfather cultivated that same love by teaching me patience and respect for nature. Together, they planted the seeds of what would eventually grow into Urban Jungle Sydney.

This business represents years of quiet dedication — the natural next step in a lifelong passion. Every plant you’ll find here has passed through my hands, grown or cared for personally with patience and attention.

Because I’m not a large nursery, many of the plants I sell are limited — sometimes only one or two of a rare variety at a time. That’s what makes this space special: everything is small‑scale, honest, and driven by genuine care.
With more than 90% of my collection homegrown, each plant has a story — nurtured under the Sydney sun, tended to through early mornings and late nights after my day job. I grow seasonally, only releasing plants when they’re healthy, established, and ready to thrive in their new homes. My goal isn’t mass production; it’s connection with people who see plants not as decor, but as living art.
