In-home plant consultation & setup

At my Coogee greenhouse, the best conversations start with you telling me what you love. This in-home service gives us the time to do that in your own space. Whether you’re choosing your first few indoor plants, adding to a collection or looking for something unusual, we’ll find plants that feel right for your home and for you.

Your home, your ideas

I’ll come to your home and begin by listening. Show me the corners you’re thinking about. Tell me which plants catch your eye, what you’d like the room to feel like, and what you’ve enjoyed—or struggled with—before. You don’t need a finished plan or a lot of plant knowledge. Your ideas and questions are what shape the visit.

Then we’ll look around together. Seeing the light and growing conditions in person helps me understand what each spot can offer. I’ll ask how you like to care for plants and how much time you want to give them. That matters just as much as the look we’re creating. You should feel comfortable with the plants you take home, not worried that you’ve chosen something beyond what you want to manage.

Choosing plants together

I’ll share my thoughts as we go, explain why I think a plant could work and welcome your reactions. If you love something that may struggle in a particular spot, I’ll be honest about it and we’ll look for another place—or another plant with the same appeal. Every plant I recommend should look beautiful in your home and have a fair chance of doing well with the care you’re happy to give.

You might leave the visit with a clear idea of a few plants you’d like, or we may need to explore some options. Either way, the choices remain yours. I can put together a proposal for the plants and pots we’ve discussed, with delivery and setup if you’d like me to take care of those too. I’ll only source what you’ve agreed to.

Bringing it all together

If we go ahead, I can bring the chosen plants to your home, help place them and show you how to settle them in. I’ll leave you with practical care notes for your particular plants. And if you’d like me to come back and see how they’re doing, we can arrange a separate follow-up visit.

The 90-minute in-home consultation is A$149 for homes in selected Sydney Eastern Suburbs. If you live elsewhere, please contact me before booking so I can confirm availability and provide an updated price. Plants, pots, delivery and setup are quoted separately after we’ve met, so you can choose the help you want. This Sydney service is for indoor and sheltered-space plants; it doesn’t include landscaping or building work.
