Monstera deliciosa Green-on-Green is an unusual variegated form where the patterning appears in different shades of green rather than white, cream or yellow. The result is much more subtle than an Albo or Aurea, with lighter and darker green marbling, mottling and occasional larger sectors developing across the foliage.

What I like about this form is that the variegation can look quite understated until the light catches it. An established plant can show several different shades of green across the same leaf, giving the foliage a layered, almost camouflage-like appearance while still retaining the rich green character of a classic Monstera.

As the plant matures and climbs, it develops the large divided and fenestrated foliage characteristic of Monstera deliciosa. Green-on-Green is a horticultural trade designation rather than a formally recognised cultivar, and the amount and pattern of variegation can vary naturally between leaves.
