Monstera deliciosa ‘Albo Variegata’ is the white-variegated form of the familiar Swiss cheese plant. The contrast between green and white is its main appeal, with markings that can range from fine marbling to larger patches. Each leaf brings a different balance of colour.
The species comes from the tropical forests of southern Mexico and Central America, where it climbs using aerial roots. As a plant matures, its foliage develops the splits and openings that make Monsteras so recognisable. A sturdy support gives it room to climb and helps display the leaves as they grow.
This exact specimen is one fully rooted plant in a 180 mm pot, standing approximately 30 cm above the pot and carrying five leaves. The newer leaves show green distributed through the cream and white areas, creating a more balanced variegated pattern.
Condition disclosure: Two leaves have damage in heavily white sections. The newer growth has a more balanced mix of green, cream and white, but future leaf appearance and variegation can change as the plant grows. Please take the existing leaf damage into account when considering this specimen.
