Monstera Albo — Exact Specimen
Sydney collection only: collect from the Coogee greenhouse. This plant is not available for postage or shipping.
Monstera deliciosa ‘Albo Variegata’ is the white-variegated form of the familiar Swiss cheese plant. The contrast between green and white is its main appeal, with markings that can range from fine marbling to larger patches. Each leaf brings a different balance of colour.
The species comes from the tropical forests of southern Mexico and Central America, where it climbs using aerial roots. As a plant matures, its foliage develops the splits and openings that make Monsteras so recognisable. A sturdy support gives it room to climb and helps display the leaves as they grow.
This exact specimen is one fully rooted plant in a 200 mm pot, standing approximately 80–90 cm above the pot and carrying seven leaves. Its exceptional white variegation is the standout feature.
Condition disclosure: Damaged white tissue on one leaf has been trimmed away. The white variegation elsewhere has remained strong and well retained. Please take the trimmed area into account when considering this specimen.
