This rare Tillandsia ehlersiana is a beautiful air plant that I'm delighted to offer, originally discovered in the cloud forests of Mexico and named after the German botanist Julius Ehlers in the late 19th century. This charming epiphytic bromeliad belongs to the subfamily Tillandsioideae and is known for its distinctive silvery-green foliage and elegant rosette form, having adapted to absorb moisture and nutrients directly from the air through specialised scales called trichomes that cover its narrow, curved leaves.
