Alocasia cuprea

Alocasia cuprea

The Alocasia cuprea is a stunning compact jewel aroid that I'm thrilled to offer for its remarkable metallic foliage and manageable size. This extraordinary plant features thick, puckered leaves with an incredible copper-bronze metallic sheen that appears to shimmer and change colour as light moves across the surface, making it one of the most visually striking Alocasias in my collection. What I find particularly captivating about this species is how the leaves seem to glow with an almost otherworldly metallic lustre. The deeply textured, quilted surface combined with the rich copper colouration creates a dramatic focal point that never fails to draw attention. Unlike many larger Alocasia varieties, the cuprea maintains a compact growth habit, making it perfect for smaller spaces.
