Tillandsia tectorum

The Tillandsia tectorum is an absolutely stunning air plant that I'm thrilled to offer, renowned for its distinctive fuzzy, silvery-white appearance that makes it one of the most visually striking bromeliads available. This remarkable epiphyte is covered in dense trichomes (tiny hairs) that give it an almost snow-white, woolly texture, creating a dramatic contrast against its compact, rosette form and making it appear almost otherworldly in its beauty. I do not recommend keeping this plant indoors. It must be grown in bright light (or full sun), good airflow, and infrequent watering. Under a tree, verandah or deck, or in a shadehouse are all great locations for this plant. Ensure the area you choose has good air flow to help the plant dry out between waterings.
