Monstera 'Thai Constellation'

Monstera deliciosa ‘Thai Constellation’ is one of the most recognisable variegated Monsteras, known for its deep green foliage scattered with cream-coloured speckles, splashes and larger marbled sections. The pattern varies from leaf to leaf, giving each plant its own individual look.

As the plant matures and climbs, the leaves become increasingly large and develop the familiar splits and internal fenestrations of Monstera deliciosa. ‘Thai Constellation’ tends to grow more slowly than the green species, but an established plant can develop into a substantial specimen given time and good vertical support.

What I particularly like about Thai Constellation is the combination of mature Monstera foliage with that fine, scattered variegation. Even leaves with less cream still carry the characteristic constellation-like pattern, so the plant remains interesting as it develops.

Light: Bright indirect or filtered light; protect the cream sections from harsh direct sunlight
Water: Allow the upper portion of the growing mix to dry slightly between waterings, then water thoroughly and allow excess water to drain
Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity with good airflow
Growth Habit: Climbing Monstera that benefits from a sturdy moss pole or other vertical support
