Philodendron plowmanii × tenue is a really interesting collector hybrid, combining the broad, textured foliage of Philodendron plowmanii with the more elongated growth and climbing influence of Philodendron tenue.
What I like about this cross is that no two plants develop exactly the same way. As it matures, the leaf shape, venation and overall structure can lean more towards one parent or the other, which is part of what makes growing these hybrids so rewarding.
This exact specimen measures approximately 50 cm high and 25 cm wide, with seven established leaves and one new leaf currently emerging. It is growing in a 10 cm pot and already has a strong, well-developed form for its size.
