Tillandsia tenuifolia
Tillandsia tenuifolia is an elegant and rewarding air plant admired for its slender, pointed foliage and naturally compact form. Its narrow green leaves create a refined, spiky silhouette, making it an attractive addition to mounted displays, hanging arrangements and mixed Tillandsia collections.
As the plant matures, it produces offsets around the base and gradually develops into a dense, sculptural cluster. Its upright growth and fine-textured foliage allow it to display beautifully on timber, cork, stone or other decorative surfaces without the need for conventional potting mix.
Mature plants may produce a delicate flower spike with contrasting bracts and small tubular blooms. Adaptable, easy to display and increasingly impressive as it multiplies, Tillandsia tenuifolia is an excellent choice for both established air plant collectors and those beginning their collection.
